Rugby 7's

 Congratulations to our Rugby 7's team who came 2nd on the tournament.
They all played hard but fair and did St Teresa's proud.

Bayer Science Fund

Thanks to a grant from the Bayer Primary School Science Fund, Takitimu will be able to continue the learning they began with Zoe, as Kaitiaki of the Wairarapa Moana.

The first purchase made with this money was two water testing kits.  These kits will be added to, and used to do initial tests of the stretch of Donald's Creek that we are adopting.  We will then be able to regularly monitor the stream, and its inhabitants, throughout the remainder of the year.  We also plan on planting alongside the stream, so will be able to monitor the impact this will have on the stream itself.

This is a very exciting time for Takitimu who will be actioning all of their learning from Term 1.
